Hello fellow outdoors enthusiasts.
2 friends and I are planning a 5 or 6 day trip up to bonnie scotland on the 16th August. We plan to spend our first night in Edinburgh. Then have a few days in the Cairngorms, then onto Glencoe and Fort William, with a possible trip up to Thurso thrown in along the way.
We plan on bagging Ben Nevis as my friends have never climbed it.( I have, but many years ago). I consider myself I fairly decent rock climber having done trips with the army and socially. As a hill walker, Ive done most of the Wainwrights and several Welsh 3000s. My friends however have little or no rock climbing experience but are experienced hill walkers, thus we will not be taking any climbing equipment and don't plan on tackling anything that needs a rope!
My question is what munros/corbetts are considered the best in your opinions. I guess I'm looking for scrambles with good views, easy technical sections and good routes.
If anyone has any input it would be much appreciated.
